What a strong technology submission looks like
The tech articles that perform for us share one feature: a number the writer measured themselves. Query latency before and after. The monthly bill in month one and month six. Hours spent on the migration. Failed restore attempts before one worked.
Benchmarks do not need to be rigorous science. They need to be honest, reproducible, and clearly labelled with the conditions you ran them under. One real measurement from your own environment is worth more than a page of vendor claims.

| Authorship | Human-written. AI-assisted is fine; AI-generated is declined. |
| Sources | Primary sources only for factual claims — documentation, filings, research, official announcements. |
| Images | Screenshots encouraged, 1200px minimum, yours or licensed. |
| Links | Up to two to your own domain, natural anchor text, placed where they help the reader. |
| Bio | 40–60 words, headshot, one profile link. |
How to submit
- Message us on WhatsApp or email admin@digitaltechupdates.com with the subject line TECH PITCH.
- Send your headline, three to five bullets on the substance, and one link to previous work.
- Wait for approval, then send the draft as a Google Doc with comment access.
Response to pitches: 2–3 business days. Editorial review: 3–5 business days. Publication within a week of approval.
Questions we get asked
Can I write about my own product?
Not as an editorial piece. You can write about the problem space, and mention your product once where it is genuinely relevant. A piece that is fundamentally about your product is a sponsored placement, and we will quote for it.
Do you accept tutorials for older software versions?
Yes, if the version is still widely deployed. State the version in the article and we will keep it accurate.
How technical can I go?
Deep is fine. Assume a reader who is competent but has not used this specific tool. Define acronyms once, then use them freely.
Can I include code?
Yes. Keep blocks under about 30 lines and explain what each one does. Link a full repository if the reader needs it.
